Current ResponsibilitiesI am working on a generalization of the singular value decomposition that will allow for comparing and contrasting large-scale datasets arranged in multiple high-order tensors with correspondance between all axes except one. An example of such a dataset collection is gene-expression, DNA copy number, and nucleosome measurements, each collected at matching time points, for multiple cell-types and growth conditions. This example would comprise three, fourth order tensors. Once this mathematical framework is developed, I will apply it to a biological dataset.
