Background

I received my Diploma in Computer Science at the RWTH-Aachen in 2002 and continued my studies in computer graphics and visualization at the Technische Universität München where I received a Ph.D. in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Westermann.

Current Responsibilities

With my current position being co-financed by NIH NCRR and DOE VACET my responsibilities include the research, development and improvement of visualization applications for medical and engineering purposes. Beyond that I focus my research on the topics below.

• Interactive computer graphics and visualization
• Novel techniques for large data visualization
