Background

I got my Computer Science bachelor's degree from Tianjin University, China in 2005, and worked at R&D center of Samsung Electronics as a software engineer until 2008. Then I came to University of Utah and got my Computational Engineering and Science master degree in 2011. Also in 2011, I started to pursue my PhD in school of computing at the University of Utah.

Current Responsibilities

I am working with Dr. Guido Gerig on medical image analysis. Recently my research focus on longitudinal image analysis, especially on 4D segmentation and 4D intensities modeling. I also work on developing and implementing fundamental machine learning algorithms to contribute the itkSnap project.
