Background

Through 2007 and 2008 I worked on a Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and PS2 title called "The Tale of Despereaux", based on a December 2008 movie. I was primarily in charge of game mechanics programming and Wii builds and development. Before that I helped build both a PDF serializer and a cash flow calculator. Tools that are currently being used by many investment companies. I have a passion for competing in algorithm contests. In 2008 I ranked 14th in the world in the Microsoft Imagine Cup contest, and 15th in 2006. Both years I was the top ranked American, and hope to go to the finals in 2009. I also compete regularly in the Topcoder online algorithm contests.

Current Responsibilities

I'm currently working with the CRCNS team to improve the build process. I'm also working with Claudio's team, doing both Dashboard and Vistrails development.

Research Interests

My primary interests are in design and development. I also have an interests in algorithms, scientific visualization, scientific computing, and lastly video game production.
