Deep brain stimulation
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.
Paper Guidelines:

  • Deadline EXTENDED: Submission deadline is Tuesday June 10, 2014, pacific time, midnight
  • Topics: Please read the primary information of this workshop to judge if your research fits into the theme and focus.
  • Format: Papers should be formatted in Lecture Notes in Computer Science style (Springer website), submitted in PDF format. We will allow for 12 pages to give room for more elaborate description of algorithms and/or results.
  •  Submissions do not need to be anonymized, so you can add author names and institutions. 
  • Paper submissions need to represent novel research not published and/or presented elsewhere.
  • MICCAI 2014 submissions: Please note that rejected MICCAI 2014 submissions specifically relevant to the topic of this workshop can eventually be submitted, would they fit the primary aim are papers that discuss exploration of new methodology towards spatio-temporal analysis of 4D image data. Papers accepted at the main conference may not be double-submitted to this workshop. 
  • July 25, 2014  Camera ready revised paper (12 pages) for accepted papers due for LNCS Special STIA'14 issue (revisions need to include changes due to reviewer's critiques / one author needs to be registered to the workshop).
