UncertainSCI is a Python-based toolkit that harnesses modern techniques to estimate model and parametric uncertainty, with a particular emphasis on needs for biomedical simulations and applications. This toolkit enables non-intrusive integration of these techniques with well-established biomedical simulation software.



Part I: 9:00–10:30 MST
  • Uncertainty modeling (30 min) with Akil Narayan
  • Background math (30 min) with Akil Narayan
  • Software organization and basic operation with a demo or two to illustrate (30 min) with Jess Tate

Part II: 11:00-12:30 MST
  • Case study 1: Neuromodulation (conductivity and comparison with other tools; electrode placement) with Sumientra Rampersad
  • Case study 2: cardiac bioelectricity (geometry, shape analysis) with Jess Tate
  • Breakout sessions based on interest; organized into breakout rooms with the UncertainSCI team
