Camera Calibration: This project involved setting up of a calibration rig (two chessboards perpendicular to each other) and determine a the camera parameters.
3D reconstruction: In this project we reconstructed the 3D profile of surfaces using picture of the surfaces from lighted from different directions. The surface normal directions (the human face shows the colormap reconstructed surface normals) were determined and thro integration (the spherical surface below was reconstructed using integration) we determine the surface projections.
3D reconstructed from silhouettes: In this project the Stanford bunny model was first reconstructed from synthetic silhouette images. The method was finally used to reconstruct the Stanford dragon using real photographs.
