Dataset used: The dataset used for this user study is taken from the VerSe19[https://osf.io/nqjyw/] and VerSe20[https://osf.io/t98fz/] datasets. Link: We consider only the lumbar vertebrae L1 and L2 for the shape modeling task as they share similarities in term of shapes. Clinical notes on the data and shape model: As we go down the lumbar region of the spine(i.e from L1 to L5) : - The separation between the inferior articular process increases - The length of the transverse process decreases. - Also the vertebral body for L1 has a subtle curve at the bottom. But as we go down to other vertebrae(L2 to L5), it gets more broad, and the rounded curve is less or not all present(like in L4, L5). All of these changes are subtle initially but are more prominent if we take vertebrae that are more separated. In our SSM model, you can still see these group differences between L1 and L2. Folder: The data required for each task for the synchronized sessions are present in the individual folder. -GroomingTask - ungroomed segmentations. -OptimizationTask - groomed segmentations that are converted to meshes. -AnalysisTask - particle files along with the project file.
