Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Deep brain stimulation
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

Background

  • Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, School of Computing, University of Utah (2016 - 2021 Fall [tentative])
  • Masters in Computer Science, School of Computing, University of Utah (2014-2016)
  • Bachelor in Computer Engineering, University of Pune, India (2008-2012)

Current Responsibilities

  • Research in computational science towards the completion of Ph.D. thesis. Development and application of
optimization-based algorithms for preserving shape and properties of polynomial projections in multiple dimensions
    and various application areas.

  • Application-specific modeling simulations in multiple dimensions. Contributing to Nektar++, a C++ based spectral/HP element framework for nite elements.

  • Masters research in curvilinear mesh refinement using Matern RBF interpolation to generate and refine curvilinear meshes for efficient modeling of complex domains. My primary research interests lie in computational science, finite-element simulations and analysis, and computational mathematics.
