Background

Mr. Aboagye received his B.A. degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana in 2015. He successfully carried out his undergraduate research project on "Game Theory: An Application to the Prisoner's Dilemma", which was supervised by Mrs. Lilian F. Kyei. From 2015-2016 he rendered his national service as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ghana's Department of Mathematics. He received his M.S. in Mathematics at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2018. For his master's thesis, He worked under the supervision of Dr. Michael Pokojovy on the topic "On Numerical Stochastic Optimal Control Via Bellman's Dynamic Programming Principle". Currently, he is reading for his Ph.D. in Computing with specialization in Data Management and Analysis.

Current Responsibilities

Mr. Aboagye is a PhD student working under Dr. Ross Whitaker on a project involving machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing.
