Background

I received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University – Idaho. After graduation I worked in industry for a year before pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah

Current Responsibilities

Currently, I work on computational models of the lumbar spine, particularly studying the effects of varying degrees of laminectomies.

Research Interests

I am most interested in the use of Finite Element Analysis to better understand the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system of the human body, particularly that of the lumbar spine.
