I completed my five years as a PhD student in the University of Utah School of Computing, working in the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute with my advisor Ross Whitaker. I am now a post doc in the Initiative in Innovative Computing at Harvard. You can find my new webpage here.
My dissertation research focused on dynamic particle systems for robust and controllable adaptive sampling of implicit surfaces. Based on only a few mathematical constraints, these systems are capable of generating complex distributions of point samples for applications from visualization to mesh generation.
