The story about the bunny
The story about the climbing bunny goes something like this.
Several years ago my friends Annette Bunge and Rob Raker visited me in Leeds.
We climbed on many different crags including Kilnsey Crag in Yorkshire.
One evening I foolishly offered to lead up a climb I'd done previously. In the gathering gloom
I found myself about 20 feet above a very bad landing with no protection. All I could say
was "I"m not a happy bunny" as I struggled to place protection. Eventually the climb was completed
and I thought nothing more of this until Rob and Annette were leaving and gave me the
climbing bunny in the photo complete with harness, quickdraws, rope and sign.
Some days the climbing bunny is happy and some days not.
