Research Assistant I am a Doctoral Candidate in the Computer Science department at the University of Utah. My doctoral research is in medical image registration, and deals with image analysis, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques. I have also developed high-performance GPU libraries and distributed-memory CPU and multi-GPU applications for image analysis, both as a professional software developer and to further my Ph.D. research.
