I completed my undergraduate degree in Comptational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University in Spring 2001.  I later received a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Utah in Fall 2002.
 
I am currently a fifth year graduate student in the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute workign toward my PhD in the computer science at the University of Utah. I am working with Dr. Mike Kirby to investigate stochastic behavior in biophysical and cardiac electrophysiological systems.
 
I successfully defended my thesis on November 19th, 2007. I have accepted a postdoctoral position with Sarang Johsi and Bill Salter working on radiological dose at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
