8:30 a.m. Welcome and Meeting Goals - Chris Johnson, Rob Ross, and Yukiko Sekine. Goal is to create a report that will be used to help create a base visualization and analytics research program within DOE ASCR.
9:00 a.m. Top Research, Infrastructure, and Strategic Challenges in Large-Scale Visualization and Analytics - Workshop Attendees - Each person gets 2-3 slides (collected before hand) and 2-3 minutes (timed carefully). We will provide a slide template with specific questions to answer and collect them ahead of time.
10:30 a.m. Break
11:00 a.m. Summary of Top Research, Infrastructure, and Strategic Challenges and Discussion - Wes Bethel and Kwan-Liu Ma
12:00 p.m. Charge to the Working Groups - Chris Johnson, Rob Ross, and Yukiko Sekine.

Working Group Red: Research Issues. Concentrating on visualization and analytics research issues for DOE large-scale problems (Co- Chairs: Sean Ahern and Han-Wei Shen).

Working Group Green: Infrastructure Issues: Concentrating on visualization and analytics software, data management, and interfaces with applications (Co-Chairs: Jim Ahrens and Mike Papka).

Working Group Blue: Strategic Issues: Concentrating on structural, social, and strategic issues (Co-Chairs: Jim Thomas and John Van Rosendale).

1:30 p.m. Working Groups Work :)
3:00 p.m. Break
3:30 p.m. Working Group Reports and Discussion
5:30 p.m. Optional Tour of the SCI Institute (in our new building :)
