The restaurant is at Marina del Ray, a clean, fun area on the waterfront.  The restaurant over looks the marina itself, which happens to be the largest man-made marina in the world.

The weather in the evening at the waterfront may get surprisingly cold for August in Los Angeles.  It may get as cold as 17 degrees on a cool night in the summer (more likely 20 degrees at minimum).  However, without humidity, it feels cool to the skin and it is suggested that you bring one additional light layer of clothing.  While there is no dress code per-se, business casual attire is suggested.

The busses will leave from downtown at 5:30, arrive at the restaurant around 6:00. We will have the entire second floor of the restaurant, with seating for about 180, and plenty of additinal standing room. The food will be American cuisine, served as a buffet, but we have not yet finalized the menu. Please check back for more information soon.
