Background

Yongsheng received his Bachelor's degree in Underwater Acoustic Electrical Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in July 1999. He received his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in Mar. 2002, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in Dec. 2007.

Current Responsibilities

Working for Dr. Ross Whitaker on medical image analysis, tomographic reconstruction and shape analysis.

Research Interests

Image processing and computer vision using partial differential equations, variational methods, wavelets, mathematical morphology and stochastic methods.
