Background

I am a junior student in the University of Utah's Bioengineering degree. I intend to go directly into industry after graduation. While in MRL, I also intern with a company called Ripple LLC.

Current Responsibilities

In MRL I am currently on a team working on creating Finite Element (FE) models of the lumbar spine. After models are created, we test for Range of Motion (ROM) through FEBio, which is created and upkept by co-workers. We are also looking into the effect of laminectomies on the ROM of the models.

Research Interests

My research interest consists of prosthetic devices that interact with the nervous system. I am also very interested in FE Models and how they can be used to develop and test potential prosthetic devices.
