Current Responsibilities

My research focuses on developing techniques for automated analysis of biomedical data. Scientists are collecting large amounts of electron microscopy image data to gain a better understanding of neuron organization in the central nervous system. I am developing automated tools to segment neurons through large volumes in order to aid neurobiologists in neural circuit reconstruction.
