Background

Dr. Jonathan Bronson is a research scientist at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI) at the University of Utah since March 2017. Jonathan obtained his BS and MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2006/2008 and earned a PhD in Computing from the University of Utah in 2014. Before joining the SCI Institute as a research scientist, Jonathan spent 3 years as a software engineer at Google.

Current Responsibilities

Jonathan works on guaranteed tetrahedral meshing techniques used primarily for volumetric biomedical analysis and simulation. As part of this work, he also maintains the open-source Cleaver meshing library.
