BackgroundI graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1996 from the University of Ottawa (Ottawa, Ontario Canada), and a Bachelor of Computer Science in 2002 from Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario Canada). My software development background includes a co-op position in 2000 at Certicom Corp. (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada), working at the Communications Research Centre (CRC) at Industry Canada (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) from 2001-2003. In Utah, I worked for TowerGuard software before joining SCI. Current ResponsibilitiesHelp develop the SCIRun2/Common Component Architecture (CCA) framework and extend SCIJump to work with other CCA applications. Research InterestsI developed an interest in visualization and in collaborative, interactive software environments through working on the FreeWRL project at CRC. I am also looking forward to learning more about the design and implementation of distributed object and component-based applications. |
