Background

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1996 from the University of Ottawa (Ottawa, Ontario Canada), and a Bachelor of Computer Science in 2002 from Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario Canada).

My software development background includes a co-op position in 2000 at Certicom Corp. (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada), working at the Communications Research Centre (CRC) at Industry Canada (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) from 2001-2003. In Utah, I worked for TowerGuard software before joining SCI.

Current Responsibilities

Help develop the SCIRun2/Common Component Architecture (CCA) framework and extend SCIJump to work with other CCA applications.

Research Interests

I developed an interest in visualization and in collaborative, interactive software environments through working on the FreeWRL project at CRC. I am also looking forward to learning more about the design and implementation of distributed object and component-based applications.
