BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).

The SCI Institute is truly a multidisciplinary environment, bringing together internationally recognized experts in cardiology, neuroscience, bioengineering, physics, mechanics, geology, mathematics, and computer science. We seek to create new scientific computing techniques, tools, and systems that enable solutions to problems affecting many aspects of human life.

SCI Institute researchers also apply many of the above computational techniques within their own particular application domains, including fluid dynamics, atmospheric dynamics, biomechanics, cardiac and neural electrophysiology and bioelectric fields, inverse problems, and medical imaging.
