SCI Director Dr. Chris Johnson has been honored with the  IEEE VGTC Visualization Career Award . This award was established in 2004 and is given every year to an individual to honor that person’s lifetime contribution to visualization. Dr. Johnson was selected for this award by the IEEE VGTC in recognition of his technical achievements and leadership in Scientific Visualization.
