![]() Description: These images are example of the kind of diffusion weighted images that are sometimes acquired for diffusion tensor imaging of the brain. There are twelve diffusion weighted volumes and one non-diffusion-weighted (B=0) reference volumes. The data has two resolutions: 1.5 mm in every axis, and 2.0 mm in every axis. The front of the head is at the top of the image. This scan goes from the top of the head down to about the middle of the brain, below the corpus collosum, but above the eyes. The DTI data was collected on a 3 Tesla MRI scanner in the W.M. Keck Laboratory for Functional Brain Imaging and Behavior by Dr. Andrew Alexander, Departments of Medical Physics and Psychiatry, University of Wisconsin, Madison, funding: NIH RO1 EB002012. |
